Light Citrine
The gemstone of the month for January is the Light Citrine, in a morning sunlight shade. This stone takes its name from the French word for lemon, ‘citron’ and the Latin word for yellow, ‘citrina’. Gaining popularity in the Art Deco period, favoured by Hollywood starlets such as Greta Garbo and Joan Crawford.
