Muse of the month for June is The Josephine: featuring the deep golden citrine. This stone is a unique yellow member of the quartz family with a rich, honey colour. Dancer, singer, actress, and civil rights campaigner, Josephine Baker has always been a muse of mine. Ernest Hemingway described her as “the most sensational woman anyone ever saw”. Josephine Baker embodied the Jazz Age like no one else, and her bold spirit, pioneering career and dedication to human rights was inspirational… I just had to name one of my rings after her!
